Yellow Lace Teardrop Hat

Yellow Lace Teardrop Hat is a delightful Spring hat for all occasions.

Here Wendy has used her hat block she calls 'Giselle' to shape a millinery  piece beautiful in its simplicity. 'Giselle' is a classic teardrop shape hat that sits down the right side of your face. The point of the teardrop should be positioned just below your right eye.

In this product the teardrop shaped hat has been covered in embroidered yellow silk appliqué fabric. Additional flowers in the same embroidered fabric add a three dimensional appearance to the finished surface of the hat.The lace has tones of yellow from near white to brilliant bright yellow. There are hand applied beads and crystals interspersed throughout the lace. 

Finishing this piece and sitting at the top of the hat are laser cut stencilled white metal flowers. A masterpiece of delicacy and elegance.

There is an elastic and comb to ensure the hat sits securely and snugly in place.
