Silver Black Button Hat is made using my 6" button base. 
The fabric on this button is vintage Japanese Obi fabric in beautiful silver thread. This is a rare fabric These vintage obi's are stored in camphor to keep those beauty and threads in perfect condition.

I have used the silver fabric under a black lace cotton mesh. 
There is a trim of black crinoline with hand applied chenille dots.

Simple. Statement. Handmade. One only.
