Red Silk Pillbox Hat Button shape

Red Silk Pillbox Hat is a fun classic shape from the 1940's. This is a gorgeous red silk pillbox button with a small red silk bow at the back and some quills to add a classy finish. The pill box is a classic shape hat that has worked for so long and as this piece shows, still does! You could also add veiling (ideally black) to elevate the look even further. This is such a popular style of hat each year at the races, you simply can't go wrong with the pill box.
This Pillbox is a percher style in that it "perches" or simply sits on your head. Ideally you should have it at an angle down over one eye. You can shape it down at either angle to the right or the left. Make sure you do wear it at the angle. A pillbox simply put flush on top of the head is really the wrong look and not what you are after. Like all of Wendy's hats and fascinators this is as light as a feather and so easy to wear.
