Pink Silk Floral Headband is feminine perfection.
A gloriously beautiful and elegant headband perfect for so many occasions. Wendy has used her "Ascot" hat block and covered it in a gorgeous Japanese silk from a vintage Kimono. The pattern on the silk is slightly textured with white, pink, purple and cream hues. A truly beautiful fabric.
Interspersed over the fabric are small plastic flowers with beads. These are vintage flowers from the 1960's and add a delightful touch to the headband. There are also separate diamantes on the edge.
At the front is a vintage white open veil that drops to just below your nose and above the mouth. The veil adds such a feminine touch and a sense of mystery.
The Ascot shaped headband is very popular. It is the perfect height to stand out but sits so comfortably in place.
Pink Silk Floral Headband is perfect for the races. Definitely a winner for the forthcoming Spring racing carnival. We'd say this is an ideal piece for Ladies Day on Oaks Day at the Melbourne Cup carnival.
