Pink Pastel Fabric Pillbox is created as a classic rear sitting pillbox. This piece is created in two pieces, and internal shape and a ring external shape. This hat is made using the "Kelly" hat block, a classic two piece hat block
A pillbox is an oval shaped hat that sits at the rear of the head, very reminiscent of the ear of the 1960s and the 'Jacqui O" hat.
This hat is made in a textured ribbed soft pink mauve fabric. Over the base layer the top layer of the same fabric has been ruched and draped.
The delicate details on this hat are the sheer net and sequin dragonflies, that are also wired to stand beautifully from the surface on the right side of the hat.

We add a fine satin headband and hidden combs to help secure this style of hat in place.
Perfect for the Royal Enclosure at Ascot UK, and is a hat that is suitable for wearing in all seasons- due the fabric nature of the finish of the hat.
