Pink Coral Feather Fascinator

Pink Coral Feather Fascinator is an explosion of colour  reminiscent of coral colours of the Barrier reef. An exquisite fascinator.

Wendy has used a hat block that creates a delicate leaf shape for the feather flower to nestle in the crown. This all sits on a narrow headband. The leaf shape is covered in an unusual metallic pink textured fabric. It shimmers and reflects the sunlight and internal lights. The leaf shape is designed to hug down your right side .

On the side of the leaf shape is an explosion of coral colours of pinks, reds, whites and cream. These are all made from goose feather biots.

The biot feathers are first  individually hand knotted, and then each delicate feather is attached to the centre ball of the flower. There are about 450 feathers in this millinery piece, with the affect of the hand dyed colours progressing from light baby pink to a deeper coral colour. It is such a delightful and balanced flower explosion.

The leaf shape, with its feather flower is then attached to an easy to wear narrow headband that has been wrapped in a pink satin ribbon.
