Pale Pink Ring Hat

This Pale Pink Ring Hat is a magnificent ring shaped hat made from a unique vintage French hollow ring block. The wooden hat block base was originally a custom made block for a private client at Galeries Lafayette in Paris (still with its identifying client number) and is dated 1952. It is a completely unique hat shape that cannot be replicated anywhere else. Wendy calls this ring shape hat style "Elegante". This was the in vogue style of hat from the early 1950s and a style made famous and favoured by Jackie Onassis.
Of course for the more casual contemporary look you could wear this with your hair down or swept to one side. But certainly the classic and most elegant look would be with your hair up in a bun.
