Natural Straw Large Brim is a large brim hat made from the natural straw base. This is an echo of the amazing Christian Dior brims worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1950's. Interestingly those Dior brims were in fact inspired by the Edwardian hat fashions for ladies at the start of the 20th century. Wendy has used Dior and the Edwardian style hats as her inspiration for this contemporary piece.
Product Features
• The top of the brim is decorated in vintage floral open mesh sinamay, with pearl details
• The natural straw shows a cream or beige colour.
• A comb is sewn inside to fit neatly into your hair.
• There is also elastic to ensure a secure fit. It will not blow away in the wind.
• There are so many variations possible with this Dior style of Brim. Wendy has made others in a variety of colours, trim and applique.
