This is a hat inspired by Monet's Waterlilies painting.
it has been in exhibition in France at the Hat Museum near Lyon.
This hat has a hand dyed felt crown at the back so it's suitable for Royal Ascot. So although it looks like a halo from the front it is a hat as well with the crown.
Hand dyed silk abaca and hand beading, flowers made from rearranging vintage petals from the 1950s.
A stunning piece of millinery Art!
Sits easily on the head, has combs and elastic.
