Mint Pink Flower Boater

When creating this millinery  piece Wendy has created a scaled down boater with a shorter brim and shorter crown. It is a playful and delightful piece. The boater is covered in a stunning blue mint colour vintage silk fabric. There is actually aluminium thread in the fabric which gives it a shimmering effect, as when looked at from different directions, the colour changes. 

Petersham ribbon secures around the edge of the brim and crown.  A delicate arrangement of pink handmade flat silk flowers and beading sits on the brim.

There is an elastic to help ensure the boater stays securely in place. 

You can wear this boater tilted to either side of the head. Ideally it should tilt so the feather sits on the high side, but it's up to you. Either way will work.
