Feather Flowers-an introduction to creating a Feather Flower Fascinator- Workshop B/B2
Feather Flowers-an introduction to creating a Feather Flower Fascinator- is the opportunity to learn the basics of making a goose feather flower.
No dates currently scheduled. Private lesson available.
Creating your own goose feather flower is a fun experience, and very self rewarding. You can choose how to use your flower, attach it to a headband, like the example below.
This class is an introduction to learning the skills of triming, shaping and securing the feathers in place to make a beautiful feather flower.
The skill level of participants needs to be about an intermediate craft skill level, as we will need to curl, glue and finish the flower, and make a leaf from the feathers, and then secure onto a fine headband.
The price of this workshop includes the glue, goose feathers in a basic colour range, as well as fine wire, threads, finishing tape and headband etc needed to make your flower. You have the option to provide your own feathers in a specific colour/colour range.
The curling tools will also be provided on the day.
The feathers will be pre-trimmed to allow the class to work efficiently.
The class is limited to 4 participants.
The location is the shop of Wendy Scully Millinery, in the Emporium shopping centre, in Melbourne CBD. It is an air-conditioned space, with easily accessible facilities.
