'Create your own Fabric Covered Headband' in this beginners level class. There will be three classes of this workshop available in January.
You will learn about the correct way to cut the fabric, stretch and stitch it in place and the most neat way to finish this curved taller headband.
Your kit will include the headband base and the special underbase finishing tape. You will have a selection of beautiful fabrics to pick from to cover your headband, or you can bring your own (fabric advice will be given). Threads, sewing needles etc will be available to use in class.
Skills: you do need to know how to hand sew, meaning to thread a fine needle, sew in small neat stitches and coordinate with pins. Min age: 16 yrs
Time: Allow 2 hours for this class.
This class can also be run with a private group as a "hens event" where the bridal party can create their own wedding accessories. Contact Wendy directly to discuss.
