COLOUR AND HAND-PAINTING SILK PETAL WORKSHOP.
Have you tried hand painting fabrics and feel that you need some help with blending colours to create elegant finished petal shapes. In this workshop we review colour theory in a practical way, using metallic watercolour paints to test variations and blends.
We then create white silk bonded petals. From these petals we hand paint them, and then use the petals to create finished flowers.
Two options for the petal structure will be discussed/ tried so you can choose.
Basic materials are included in this workshop inc your own small watercolour palettes, and basic pure silk, wires and sinamay/bonding materials. This workshop is over one day to allow for the development of colouring skills and creating and painting the petals.
It is available as a private lesson, at an additional 10%..

Wendy's new studio is centrally located in Melbourne CBD. 208/227 Collins St Melbourne. It has a lift access, bathroom access and air-conditioning.

She is happy to remake previous pieces with your own input and customisations, but be aware there will always be minor differences between hats due to their unique nature.
