Burgundy Velvet Halo Crown is created on the new hat block shape in the collection.
The name of the hat block shape is "Garbo". This shape has just arrived from a Spanish block maker, and was made to custom for Wendy Scully Millinery.
It is a slightly higher crown with a raised arch centre.
It's not like some of the wider bandeaus that at a chunky behind the ears and of course has a built in fine headband and comb. It's a slightly more generous width as well, great for those who find headbands too tight.
This shape is slim and easy to wear behind the ears, and comfortable,
It has a curved profile that leads up to the higher arch point. This is a fully blocked shaped, not just a simple covered headband.
Very elegant and easy to wear and travel with, lots of options for fabrics and trimming for those who want to vary this product with a custom order.
