Black White Teardrop Button is a classic small button in a strong contrast fabric of black and white. It is in a gorgeous teardrop shaped button. The oversized veil adds dramatic interest to the hat. The large antique haute silk flower is perched on the side. Wendy calls this particular teardrop shape hat "Japone".
It has been made on a block unique to Wendy made exclusively for her to her own design. Japone is an easy hat to wear and would work well with any dress ready for Derby Day fun.
It is designed so that the centre of your head is covered and the teardrop sits down the right side of your face. This creates such a feminine classic look. Match with a chiffon lace dress or a tailored suit in silk, or a more casual look with palazzo pants. As with all Wendy's hats and fascinators it is so easy to wear and so light. You will not know you are wearing it. For those of you fortunate enough to be attending the Royal enclosure at Ascot the teardrop "Japone" shape is perfectly acceptable. It is more than the 4 inch crown requirement and is designed to cover the centre of your head.
