Of course you could equally wear this to any race day as it would match almost any outfit in your wardrobe. Certainly for an evening cocktails event you will definitely stand out wearing this piece. The hat is made to sit on the right side of your head at an angle. You can wear your hair down or up in a bun for a more dressed up look. As with all of Wendy's hats and fascinators it is light as a feather. So comfortable to wear.

• This hat is made from stunning vintage black silk velvet gathered in a draped pattern.
• At the back of the hat are black feathers that beautifully compliment the silk velvet.
• To finish Wendy has attached a simple open diamond pattern veil that drops to just below the nose.
• It sits (or perches) on your head and is held in place with elastic that loops around under your hair.
