The veiling is french vintage silk from the 1920's.
The hat block shape is a half hat style ( in the style of the french 'bibi') which sits flat to the head. This hat shape was specially designed for Wendy based upon the style of Grace Kelly. The headpiece curves over the head, is shaped around the face, and is slimmer and extends over the left ear. Such a classic shape and style to wear. Looks great in many fabrics.
