A classic black crochet straw wide brimmed hat in raffia straw. Raffia is an Eco friendly material made from segments of the leaves of palm trees.
This particular hat is delicate and incredibly light in weight. When you wear this hat you will not feel you are wearing anything. The hat is as light as a feather.
Obviously this would be the perfect hat for the Derby Day races at Flemington during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. This hat can only be made in Black. However you can have it partly customised.
Product Features
• This black hat is made from black raffia straw that has been hand crocheted into a wide brimmed hat shape.
• Black Petersham ribbon circles the crown tied into a bow at the side.
• The hat is embellished with a large black silk flower that also sits at the side of the crown.
• The hat has been lightly water proofed.
• The hat displayed is for a head size of small to medium. You can have the hat made to another head size head.
• Customisation may be with different trim or a different coloured silk flower. You can also customise the hat to sit on a headband.
• There is an elastic for securing the hat. If required a comb could be added.
