Black Cloche Silk Hat is another stunning hat from Wendy made on a vintage Russian Hat block from the 1920s. This is one of Wendy's collection of four Vintage Russian blocks. The beautiful curve of the brim at the front of the hat creates an elegant sweeping line which is so flattering to any face. The crown is created in a separate piece to the brim, so the options of contrasting brim and crown are possible. Such an elegant piece and so easy to wear. No combs or pins needed. Just pop on and wear this vintage style hat. It is a full crown so fits slightly down over your head half way over your ear.
Wendy calls this shape hat "Natasha" and her fun name is the "new Russian". Using such a vintage hat block to recreate such a fun contemporary hat.
