Ascot Headband Shape is perfect for Royal Ascot as it satisfies the requirements of the Royal Enclosure.
This headband shape is wide but flatter.
The headband finishes above the ear so is comfortable with no bulky fabric behind the ear.
It is made with a fine metal headband in place, elastic instead of a headband is by request.
Perfect to travel with, fits in a small hatbox if the trim is not too tall.
Can be made in many materials and trimmed in a wide variety of styles.
The finished headpiece has a fabric underneath anda touch of veiling under to help with the perfect sitting on the hair. It is also finished with a comb.
Approx price for a finished piece is $380-$500 depending on fabric and trims.
As usual Wendy 'double blocks' at these pieces so the under structure is firm but light.
