Lemon Wide Floral Headband is a simple and beautiful 1950 style headband shape. It is made on a custom made hat block, that was designed by Wendy and carved to her design.
The fabric used is a beautiful floral silk from https://www.ungaro.com
It is a floral fabric with soft shades of yellow and light mauves.
The hat block curves over the head, but curves out from the left ear and around it.
This millinery piece has a delicate crinoline halo veil that softly mutes the look and adds a touch of drama. There are soft gold beaded appliqués at the back of the headpiece. Elastic and comb hold this caplet security in place.
In terms of being unique, this millinery design encapsulates it totally. In a one only hat shape and a delicate composition of fabric and texture.
Lemon Wide Floral Headband would be perfect for so many occasions. Certainly an elegant piece for the Spring Racing Carnival. It would also be a divine piece for a Mother Of the Bride or a wedding guest. For an overseas event this is an easy to pack and carry piece of millinery.
