Black Fringe Deco Halo is a uniquely designed rear sitting halo piece that gently arches back from the head.
The vintage raffia fringe sits in a delicate halo effect. The other trim is a 'zigzag' crinoline braid, both are stitched over a white silk base. Touches of the white fabric shows through the black shapes. The back of the headpiece has pleated linen fabric and black satin ribbon.
The simplicity of this piece is that it sits on a fine black satin covered headband and small comb which keeps its securely in place. It's as light as a feather.
This design is totally unique to Wendy Scully Millinery.
This hat block shape is called "Jess", made from a vintage brim from the 1920s.
Ideally wear this piece with your hair up in a bun. For a more informal look it can be worn with your hair down. It's up to you.
