Reddish brown is associated with harvest and autumn, and the rusty brownish colour highlights the colours of leaves falling in the wind in autumn. Maroon colour is dark brownish red which is why it is often referred to as wine colour- shiraz, claret, grenache. It denotes warmth and comfort yet also power and confidence and the sense of a delicious wine on a cool day.
