The Hattember competitionis held annually in Sydney. This year I decided to enter the Art wearable section, as I wanted the freedom from the constraints from formal traditional millinery design.
My piece, entitled “Bathing Beauty” was a play on words and fabric use. The concept of an old fashioned bathing cap, made from felt, with metal shim flowers, is an interesting departure from the normal concept of a bathing cap. This piece was placed 3rd.
