I was honoured to receive my felt hat piece back from the “Musee of Chapeaux” which is near Lyon, in France.
I entered a simple felt design in the 10th International Hat’s Art Competition at the La Chapellerie, Atelier-Musee du Chapeau, Chazelles-sur-Lyon. (www.museeduchapeau.com)
My felt orange & blue piece was selected from over 300 entries in their ‘Archi-feutre’ Anniversary competition, to be included in the 100 pieces selected for the formal exhibition. It was on display from May-Oct 2014.
The judging panel included Stephen Jones, the international English Milliner.
