A beautiful silk covered fabric Spanish style boater. The Spanish style boater has a slightly wider brim and a higher crown compared to the traditional English boater style of hat.
This boater hat is fully covered in a gorgeous silk leopard print fabric. At the side and towards the back are two simple but stunning white goose feather flowers. These flowers are hand made by Wendy. The pure white against the leopard pattern is a beautiful contrast.
A perfect classic and stylish hat perfect for Oaks Day during the Melbourne Cup Carnival or any other race occasion. This could also be a stunning elegant piece for a Mother of the Bride, or with a cream suit for Royal Ascot.
As a full Crown hat it will sit neatly down over your head. However there is a comb on the inside of the crown and elastic can be added for further security.
Leopard Silk Spanish Boater is 100% hand made in Australia by Wendy in her Melbourne studio.
Whilst this hat uses a pill box crown and wide brim both the brim and crown height and head fitting size can be made to suit your outfit. As with most of Wendy’s hats this one can be customized to whatever colour or embellishments you so desire. The crown height can be adjusted to suit your face and hair style.
