A black felt brimmed hat. This is a classic round crowned hat made in 100% pure wool. This is an elegant hat with a wider brim with a wired edge. The edge of the brim is trimmed in black velvet. The headband on the hat is a vintage organza wide ribbon.
This is a medium fit, approx @58 cm headfit.
This black felt brimmed hat is lightly waterproofed for weather protection.
Elastic also is attached to secure the hat if needed. This is a medium depth full crown. You wear this hat down over your head.
This hat is 100% pure wool felt in black. Care should always be taken with any dark coloured felts as continuous exposure to the sun will eventually fade the colour. We recommend you lightly brush the felt with a small nail brush from time to time to ensure it maintains its lightly fluffy pile.
This hat is 100% Australian made by Wendy in her Melbourne studio. It is a one off piece and will not be replicated by Wendy. So you can be assured of buying your own unique piece.
This brimmed felt hat is so elegant and versatile. You could wear it to the autumn or winter races. or wear it as a great outdoors hat during the chilled winter days. It’s a great wear of dressing up the casual look. As its a full crown fitting snuggly over your head it will keep you perfectly warm.
How to wear a brim. This brimmed hat is designed to fit straight down although you can tilt back or forward depending on the look you want.
