Black White Open Ring Hat is a clever and fun black and white ring hat. Such a pretty hat.
Here Wendy has used a 1920’s vintage hat block to create the round ring shape hat designed to sit at the back of your head. The whole ring is covered in a textured fabric of black and white checked pattern. The fabric is textured and the pattern is symmetrical and looks like overlapping circles.
At the back of the hat there are three large pure white silk flowers and quills. The centre of the ring is hollow.
There is a comb at the front inside and pin loops to ensure the ring stays securely in place. With the hat sitting at the rear of your head you should ideally have your hair up in a bun sitting through the centre of the ring. Of course you could still wear this with your hair down or to the side but we would recommend having it up in a bun for the best effect.
This is a perfect hat for the Derby Day races in the forthcoming Melbourne Cup Carnival. Certainly a potential hat for that day’s Fashion on the Fields competition. There would also be nothing stopping you wearing this for many other events such as a wedding. It is a delightful easy to wear hat that will look so good with so many outfits.
Black White Open Ring Hat is incredibly light. Sitting at the rear with your hair in a bun you will not realise you are even wearing a hat.
