Black White Feather Headband Hat is a unique style of hat created by Wendy on a custom made hat block shape. It is the only block shape of its kind in the world. A definite Wendy special.
There are two layers of feathers hand woven over the gorgeous headband shape. The base is a layer of black goose feather tips overlaying each other. Over that the second layer is of white goose feather tips overlaid each other. The end result is a delicate flowing of black and white feathers. The shaping is so elegant. It is almost reminiscent of what you would expect a ballerina to wear in Swan Lake.
There is a single black quill and some elegant black crystal work on the top of the headband. The end result is actually also reminiscent of a 1920s style. A bit of fun with elegance.
The underside of the headband is black silk with combs and elastics for added security. This will suit any size head.
Absolutely comfortable to wear. You will not even realise you are wearing it.
This black and white piece would be suitable for so many occasions and events. Definitely a perfect Derby Day headband. Or perhaps for an evening cocktail event. So many possibilities with this style of hat. Wherever you choose to wear it you will look elegant and sophisticated.
