Wendy has used a vintage 1950’s hat block from Galeries Lafayette in Paris to create this clever rear sitting hat. It is a custom hat block unique to Wendy’s collection. There is only one of this hat block in the world.
The gorgeously shaped hat has been made using black open weave Japanese paper mesh. Pure white silk flowers sit on the left side of the hat. A single black quill adds a flourish of excitement.
The hat is designed to sit at the back of your head. This helps to show the rolled edge of the black mesh weave and creates an amazing 3D perspective with the open weave style.
