Black Floral Brim Hat is another full crown brim hat from Wendy. Here we have a black straw brim. Over the brim is bonded an ivory and black floral sinamay. Around the crown is a gorgeous red silk tied in a bow at the side towards the back.
This is the simple, elegant and classic full brim look that every lady should have at least one of.
In this case Wendy has created a full brim hat which simply means the crown of the hat comes down over the head and fits securely on you.
The whole brim here is made from a beautiful black straw. For a clever and interesting look Wendy has bonded ivory and black floral sinamay around the brim. It is a beautiful pattern. But the real stand out is the stunning red silk around the crown and tied in a bow. Red like this always works against black straw.
Definitely the perfect summer or spring hat for a guest attending a wedding outdoors. This would certainly complete your outfit.
Equally this full brim would look amazing at the Races during the Spring Carnival such as the Melbourne Cup Race week. If you are lucky enough to be travelling overseas to the UK races a brim like this would be perfect. And if you’re lucky enough to be in the royal enclosure at Ascot this brim definitely meets the 4 inch crown requirement.
There is a comb inside to add a touch of security. Elastic can be added if you require.
