It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to attend the haute couture SS2023 runway of www.alinlekal.com in Paris on the 23rd January 2023. His work was hand beaded a=and used silks of beautiful shades of fabrics in silk pastel colours.
Held in the stunning venue of The American Cathedral in Paris, Alin’s designs were no less dramatic and awe inspiring.
Whilst in Paris I enjoyed a drink in the Hemingway Bar, at the www.ritzparis.com and what an amazing hotel to wander through, with Alicia Marshall, Melbourne Stylist extraordinaire.
Seeing the www.luisvuitton.com installation in their shop in the Vendome was truly amazing.
I wandered past the reconstruction of Cathedrae Notre-Dame Paris, too see the works being undertaken to retore this building.
One wonderful opportunity was to visit the workshop of www.laforme.fr where hatblocks are created and carved to order. I have ordered mine- a classic www.dior.com style 1950s bucket style hat shape. Can’t wait for it to arrive from the hands of Lorenzo. The hat shape for the beaubaton wizards in www.harrypotter.com was created in this studio, to the design of https://www.philiptreacy.co.uk
